East Lancs Railway Nightshoot 2009

I've wanted to go to a nightshoot for some time, and finally got round to going along to my local heritage railway, the East Lancs Railway in Bury.

The way these things are run is that you set your tripod up and snap away, well, to an extent, as you need some pretty long exposures. There were quite a lot of people there, and trying not to get in each others shots was a tricky affair, not helped by a few seemingly blind and deaf cretins who seemed oblivious to all around them.

Despite that, it was a good night, and I happily paid £10 that will go towards restoration of an engine.
