Mechanical Landscapes Book Now On Sale!

Despite a complete lack of public demand, I'm proud to announce the publication of my new book on Blurb!
Mechanical Landscapes is a collection of the best industrial and urbex images from theviewfromthenorth.org. These have been extensively re-worked from some of the fairly raw images seen on this site, and the book is almost exclusively black and white.
Instead of copying the format of this website (and other similar books), Mechanical Landscapes is instead split into 6 chapters - Steel, Mining, Textiles, Paper, Power and Miscellanea, with a splendid selection of photos from various sites, accompanied by some insightful commentary on the buildings and my experiences. Sites include Chatterly Whitfield, Bailey Mill, Brymbo Steelworks, Dinorwic, Grove Rake, Flechers Paper Mill, SARO, Corus, and many others.
The book is 160 pages, and has taken me over a year to design, prepare and publish. Prices start at £30 for the softcover and premium paper is highly recommended, as it really shows the photos at their best!
