At the side of the works is a large area that looks like it was a lodge, probably for the large amounts of water needed for the process, or for cooling water down used in the process. It looks like it's been partially drained though, as it was a lot lower than I'd have expected, possibly to deter people from swimming in it. It did give me a nice opportunity for a reflection although the combination of colours and the setting sun gave a strange colour picture. Hence the mono conversion.
