Pickle Factory, Blackburn
Known locally as the Pickle Factory, Peel Fold Mill was used by Escourts until the late 1990's. Since then it has been heavily vandalised and suffered an arson attack which has made the first floor inaccessible.
The site has been bought by Barratts who want to build houses there, but have been facing some stiff local opposition.
The factory has been seriously vandalised, as well as stripped out, although a couple of pieces of machinery remain. It's a pretty bleak explore, so I converted all the pictures to black and white, as they seem to work better that way for some reason.
