Contact me
Feel free to drop me a line if you have any questions, or if you like my photos. I'm also glad to hear from anyone who has an interest in any of the places I have visited.
NOTE: While I'm happy to provide help and assistance where I can, could I please request that you have a read through the following before contacting me, as in some instances I will ignore messages left for me. I'm not being rude, I'm just managing people's expectations before they contact me, as I've wasted plenty of time since 2007 responding over and over again to correspondence along the following lines:
GENEALOGISTS (FAMILY HISTORY)
I've been contacted a number of times by people asking about company records for places I've visited. Sorry if it isn't obvious, but I just take photographs. I have no employment records or company records of anywhere I've visited, and any history on the places I have is either from online or written sources - books, newspapers / magazine articles, etc. Please don't take offence if I don't respond to any more queries asking for copies of your Uncle Berts employment records at Scroggins Mill from 1923. Thanks.
PRINT SALES
Please contact me if you would like to buy prints.
LOCATIONS
Unless I already know you or you are known in the exploration community, don't bother asking me where places are or how to get in them. Don't expect to be spoon fed - put the work in, do your research and get out and have a look. Tip: Geograph is a good place to start. Any further queries will not be responded to.
COMMERCIAL USE OF MY PHOTOGRAPHS
Please contact me if you wish to use my pictures. Some of my photos are for sale through the Alamy stock library, so I do charge for their use in commercial publications such as books, newspapers, promotional material, etc. Here's why - I go and take them in my own time, using equipment that cost me a lot of money, and I pay to have the website hosted. Oh and don't try and use them without my permission, I will find out. My subsequent invoice to you will be greater than it was if you'd have just asked in the first place!
Any use without my written permission will be considered a breach of copyright, and will be pursued by legal means if necessary. You have been warned.
