By jan edwards: Amazing photos of a truly magnificent building.Felt quite sad seeing the dereliction that has happened to it......i'm so glad its going to be saved....its an important piece of Fire Brigade/Service history and also of Manchester........there is a reflection of a figure in one on an internal window.....quite ghostly.......but just adds to the whole atmosphere.I hope as much of the original fixtures can be left in situ......i love the little winding staircases...lots of nooks and crannies here......thanks for your photos............jan x
