By M.Heaton: I used to drive for the mill in Parbold when it was owned by Nitrovit and picked loads up from Burscough mill. My father. worked for H&R Ainschoughs for many years in the Parbold mill. Great to look back.
By barbara dibb: my grandfather william arnold was coachman to richard ainscough at his home brooklands, briars lane lathom for many years. he had a team of shire horses which he used to take to shows all over lancashire. he died in 1970 aged 94
