Green Door
Somewhere in Britain there was once a factory turning out large green, wooden, sliding doors. I’ve seen them in all manner of places, although few were in as bad a condition as this. Oddly enough, despite being a complete ruin, large areas of Cheadle Bleachworks were converted to housing. I’ve seen far more interesting places, in much better condition, pulled down.
Selective colouring is a technique that was popular a few years ago, and this is one of the few pictures I’ve tried it on where it works. It seems to lift the door away from its background and really makes it stand out.
