By David Pointon: Due to lack of funds the steel works were demolished with its traceable history the works should have been repaired and made into a museum, I visited the site during its demolition and was given a tour I could still remember seeing names and comments etched into brick faces,thanks to your efforts these photos still give people an insight into life at the works Well done to all involved!
