By Kath Dawson: I worked at Rosebank fabrics 65-68. The Millat the other end of the lane. We were taken over by Sanderson fabrics, Uxbridge. We were told not to step into any puddles if we went up to top mill as they may contain caustic & rot our shoes. No h&s. Happy days. Lovely photos brought back many memories of a time gone by. Mr Turnbull went living in the Isle of Man.
