Hatfield Colliery 7

As mentioned previously, the cloudless sky gave me problems inasmuch as that's not the kind of conditions I normally shoot in! I opted to bleach out the sky to a near white, and with the close crop I ended up with a Berned and Hilla Becher style look to the photograph. And before any pedants point out that the Becher's work was about presenting the work as typologies to show similarities on the subjects - yes, I know. I'm referring to the aesthetic not the intent of the image.
