Letter head

Letter head - Ivy Bank Mill Revisit
This photo of a company letterhead was kindly sent to me by Brian, a visitor to the site. I love this style of technical illustration, it really shows how much pride the Victorians had in their mills. It's interesting to see from this that the mill had been fundamentally intact before the fire which caused such extensive damage. I saw a report on 28 Days later last year, and it looked like the building on the left of the picture, and the remains of the sheds had been demolished in the past year or so. I should perhaps take another look next time I'm visiting the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway which runs more or less alongside it, as can be seen from the train on the picture!
