Bridge Of Doom
The terraces of the giant Dinorwic quarry in Llanberis once employed 15000 men and were home to fifty miles of narrow gauge railway. The quarry shut in 1967, but large sections of prefabricated panels of railway track still exist, including this precarious length that has been in the path of a landslip. Quite how it remains suspended in mid air, seemingly defying gravity, is beyond me!
