By Sue Taylor: My ggg grandparents worked here as did their children and my gt grandfather and some of his siblings were born here from 1857 onwards. My gg grandfather was a master carder.
By Marcus Matthews: My gt grandfather (George Thompson) worked here. He died here on the 19 December 1892. He was accidentally killed by having his head crushed between some wheels whilst fixing a nut on the cap of a shaft of a chopping machine.
