By Nicola: I just happen to come across this searching something Preston related – I am so grateful and so impressed that you decided to explore these buildings and document them photographically. And what you’ve written was beautifully described. Thank you so much for doing this – you brought something to my attention that I hadn’t known about before – it’s always sad when a building is vulnerable to vandalism and nothing better can be made of it other than to pull the place down, but you have preserved it here with your photographs and I for one very much appreciate that thought and Care that you have shown.
