Photo comment By Steve B: Just found that my great grandfather, his daughter and son worked in the Wellington Mill in 1921 (census). Thomas Bannon was an Engineer, Mary was a Cotton Winder and Joseph was a Yarn Tester. They didn’t have far to commute as they lived at 274 Whitelands Road.
