Print Works

Photographs of Bradshaw Works, Bolton, prior to demolition in 1989
The huge building at the end was built in 1963 at a cost of £100000 and printing machines were installed. However, the bleachworks closed just a few weeks later. In later years, these buildings were used by Coleman Milne for the manufacture of limousines and by Markland Scowcroft steel stockholders.

Photo comment By paul carlin: Next door to this building was another building that housed a company called Anderston Clyde Engineering Ltd that built overhead cranes and i started my apprenticeship there in 1967, it later moved back to scotland and i was then re-employed by Wadsworths lifts in Bolton.
