Photo comment By Tony Flynn: Very Interesting photographs. I worked for Markland Scowcroft at Bradshaw Works from 1974 - 1976.Brings back memories. Thanks.
Photo comment By Alan Chambers: Hi, I am trying to get photos of the transport used by MS, my dad Bill worked for them for 20 odd years and I used to love going with him every opportunity but, for the life of me I can't remember what model the artics were and I have a model railway my dad partly built and I want to put a MS yard on it but stuck with what the transport was despite riding "shotgun" many times. Can anyone please help with photos or info in my endeavour. Thank you for reading.
Photo comment By James Buchanan: In James Graham's 'History of Printworks in the Manchester District 1760 - 1846 describes how Hardcastle & Son supplied about 20,000 pieces a year, largely bleaching for the German trade. From 1835 the firm of Callender & Bickham, calico Printers were based there. Thomas Henry Bickham is related to me.
